Blue Mountain Entertainment Presents:

BYU International Fold Dance Ensemble. This group of young dancers and singers put on the most amazing performance Saturday night. This was our family fun night. The kids were entertained and we had the best time. At the beginning of the show, they told the audience to please not take photos or video....well I didn't take video, I had to break one rule.

They perfomed dances and songs from these countries: Israel, India, Hungary, China, Turkey, Ukraine, Canada, Ireland, and the United States. I guess they travel all over the world and perform with groups alike. If you ever have the chance to get out and see them, the time and money spent would be much worth it!

Sled Cemetary....?

A couple of weeks ago I found the girls digging holes in my backyard. After a hole was dug they went and found tree branches to put in those holes to what looked liked a forest. Then they started digging holes for the sleds, all of which to carefully place where each one went. When you looked at it you really would have thought it to be a sled cemetary...I thought 'creative'. Picture one will give you that image:

Well as usual I was wrong. NO this was not a sled cemetary....it was a shelter from the neighbor boys and their toy guns...I laughed forever! Creative thinking on their part. This is what is was for:

HAHAHA! I miss being a kid sometimes.

Now where did the furniture go?????

Trying Something New...Or Not!

I was asked to make a wedding cake at work for our Valentines party. This is the best I could come up with....so not my thing.

Top of the cake looking down.

I got really messy with the chocolate...but I wasn't trying to be professional. So there you go;
now you know why I stick to cookies, pastries, and small cakes.

Not a picture man!

The kids came home from primary today with a letter from the primary presidency stating that as part of their theme this year, they would like to post photos of families. So as we walked in the door I told everyone to hurry and sit on the couch while I took a picture. Jason is not the type that will exactly jump in front of the camera. He hates taking pictures. I asked him a couple of times to sit forward and straight up, well as you can see this was the result. I think it's funny. He definately is not a picture man!
