The highest bidder is.....

This reunion was a blast! The family does an auction to raise money that provides the meals at the next reunion. Do you think Konner had any fun? The kids each got a treasure for about $5 and less and just loved it. The whole auction was really entertaining to watch and be a part of.

On with the Olympics

We took the kids to the Park city Olympic venues and toured around the museum and stuff. They were pretty much through by the end of 1 hour. This place is too expensive but really cool to go and see.

"Chubby Bunny"

This game was hillarious! Each person had to put giant marshmellows in their mouth and say "chubby bunny" if they could say it, and you could understand it, then you got to keep adding more into the vault. Tara was the only one of our family that participated and she only lasted about four rounds...yeah Tara.

Konner was a bit more conservative and prefer to build rock castles on the beach.

"See...he says..how do you like it?"

Water Fun

The kids had so much fun on our vacation. One day we all went to Jordanel and played in the water all day.

Naaaaw! I don't think it's too big do you?

And you know you've had too much fun when you can sleep on anything or anywhere

Our project

Our yard which was just put in last year has taken us well till this year to at least make it appealing to the eye. Now after many hard hours of work this is what we've got so far. This stream took the entire summer last year to work on and was finally completed about late August. The flowers have really sprung out and bloomed over the last month and everything is looking really nice. Everyone who passes by compliments us on how good it looks. To be so bold..I agree.

Konner and the girls just love it when I pull them out and let them hold the rabbits

SURPRISE

When what to our wondering eyes should appear but a miniature cottontail and 6 tiny....rabbit babies???? One day while weeding out our flower bed by our stream Jason freaks out when he feels something move below his hand and we had found this burrow dug out and these cute little baby bunnies inside. Of course they are not pets, these cottontails run by the 1000's here and are wild. Geese--what kind of surprise did you think it was?

Too Cute for words

outdoor fun

Ok so we decide it's time for some family fun, and we go camping for the weekend. We live at the base of the Abajo mountains and campgrounds are only six to eight miles away and are pretty nice. We invited our friends to go with us and we all had a blast. It's nice just to get away and relax for a couple of days. The only thing that was not fun is when we were sleeping and at 5:00 a.m. we were rudely awakened by hound dogs...lots of them! Last month was bear hunt, this month is train the dogs to bear hunt. So several teams would head up to the mountains and start releasing the hounds about 5:00. and it just so happen to be about 300 + feet away from where we were camping.
